Research Impact: Creating Meaning and Value online course

Research Impact: Creating Meaning and Value covers the fundamentals of research impact – what it is and how it can be embedded into every step of the research journey – to help support researchers and universities in embedding a broader culture of research impact.  The course offers:

  • multi-disciplinary approach enables researchers to choose their path and encourages collaboration across disciplines.
  • flexible, modular structure enables researchers to dip in and out of the programme at a time and place that suits them.
  • It supports a blended approach and will be used to complement existing workshops and other training and support initiatives at Leeds

Structured into 5 modules, the entire course will take approximately 3 hours to complete.  You can stop and revisit at any time:

  1. Defining Research Impact
  2. Planning your Impact
  3. Engagement and Communication Strategies
  4. Evaluating and Monitoring Impact
  5. Evidencing Impact

Design of this course was led by Dr Ged Hall (University of Leeds) and Dr Tamika Heiden (Research Impact Academy, Australia)
